TNE:
When the Khaukeairl clan first settled Teakhiru (2539) in -1080
they overlooked the native Droyne population. They couldn't see them. The Droyne
of Teakhiru live in extensive caverns beneath the mountains. The initial survey
of the world did not reveal their presence. The Khaukeairl claimed the world
and established a colony. Several years later, a geological survey team looking
for precious metals discovered a cavern with a vault door several meters inside.
A couple weeks worth of attempts to open the door failed but it did get the
attention of the Droyne. The Droyne told the Khaukeairl that they had no claims
on the surface world and that it was all theirs. This pleased the Khaukeairl
and they left the strange hermits alone.
When Virus hit Teakhiru, the Droyne underworld was spared. Separated for
millenia from the surface, the Droyne were not a target. The Aslan, however,
were a target. A few survived and managed to make their way into the
subterranean Droyne city. Since the Droyne are once again the "dominant"
population, the name of the world has reverted back to Loblitmyus.
Although initially destroyed by Virus, Oisyasais (2933) is now a base for
the AQS operations. The starport is submersible and is capable of
self-relocation to thwart location by Vampire ships.
Wahtoikoeakh (2936) was an overcrowded filthy industrial world before the
Collapse. The Fteweyeakh clan (though Tlaukhu members themselves,
they're allied to the Eakhtiyho), known for their heavy investments in
the Reaches, did nothing to stop the ever increasing pollution and crime. "Even
normally unthinkable rukhta, crimes of honor, were committed on a
regular basis." (TD19)
Along came Virus. A TL14 industrial world at the base of the Riftspan Route was
just exactly what it needed to launch attacks at the Aslan across the Rift.
Billions of Aslan died from Virus' initial attack and subsequent conquest of the
manufacturing facilities. Billions more died in the aftermath from the lack of
food, clean water, and clean air. Attack robots scoured the countryside
executing all that they could find. Too proud to surrender, Aslan captives only
fought until they were slain.
Having already crossed the line into dishonor, the Fteweyeakh thought nothing of
using guerilla warfare to survive. When Aslan from the Khei liberated the world
in 1196, a blind eye was turned to past Fteweyeakh behavior. It could be said
that they'd suffered enough.
Wahtoikoeakh is a ruined world. Several decades worth of Viral rule were no
better than its Aslan predecessors. Many life forms have died off. Acid rain
actually causes skin burns upon prolonged exposure. "Death clouds," toxic air
masses from broken storage tanks, have been known to asphyxiate hapless victims
downwind from the source. Life expectancies for Wahtoikoeakh's inhabitants are
expected to continue to be short as the noxious environmental conditions will
take a long time to fade.
The Hlyueawi clan have fought bitterly to regain control of Iyw
(3038). Although valiantly struggling on their own, they weren't achieving much
more than a stalemate. This stalemate was acheived through the use of such
dishonorable tactics as "ambush" and "terrorism." When help arrived from the
Aslan across the Rift, the Hlyueawi were finally able to defeat Virus.
